My Triple Catalyst Strategy - S&P 500 inclusion potential + AI + VCP
Aug 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM

🚀 S&P500 inclusion potential + AI + VCP

Catalyst #1

S&P 500 inclusion potential

Creates the possibility of future forced institutional demand.

Catalyst #2

AI structural growth

Creates fundamental earnings/revenue potential.

Catalyst #3

VCP

Creates a potential timing mechanism.

When all three align:

Step 1 — Find the candidate

S&P potential

Step 2 — Find the reason

AI / growth / structural catalyst

Step 3 — Wait

Don't chase.

Step 4 — Look for VCP

Price contraction

Volume contraction

Tight trading

Relative strength

Step 5 — Wait for the pivot

Step 6 — Breakout

Volume expansion

Step 7 — Manage risk

Only then does the stock become a potential trade.

Why This Strategy Could Be More Powerful Than S&P Inclusion Alone

RDDT taught us an important lesson.

The market can anticipate S&P inclusion.

Therefore:

Buying after the announcement

may mean buying after the easy money has already been made.

But imagine finding:

ALAB

before an S&P announcement,

while it is simultaneously:

growing earnings

benefiting from AI

showing institutional accumulation

forming a VCP

approaching a breakout

becoming increasingly eligible for the S&P 500.

That's a completely different setup.

You're no longer betting on one catalyst.

You're combining multiple independent catalysts.

My Current "Must Watch" Five

If I had to reduce the entire list to five names for further technical research:

🥇 ALAB

AI connectivity + S&P potential + VCP

🥈 BE

AI power + earnings acceleration + S&P potential

🥉 PSTG

AI storage + growth + potential S&P catalyst

4️⃣ CRDO

AI networking + high growth + technical momentum

5️⃣ SOFI

S&P candidate + financial growth + VCP potential

But there is a crucial distinction:

These are watchlist rankings, not buy signals.

The next step is to determine which of these stocks actually has a valid VCP today.
